my TV's...which grabs one of the tuners...which MythTV doesn't like. I end
up with truncated recordings and some zero byte recordings.

all the failed recording tasks are still listed and active...when they
clearly are not (only 3 tuners and are were idle at that tine). I try to
delete them, but they hang around like the smell of rotten meat ...

be some way for MythTV to check the status of the tuners before it jumps in
and tries (and fails) ti use a tuner.

My HDHR Prime is sometimes used by a WMC PC, and when it is, the HDHR's
status page for the tuner in use lists that PC's IP under the field
"Resource Lock." Is there some extra flag which could be set when Myth
Backend opens a stream from the Prime to tell it to lock that tuner? I
wasn't sure if this was a feature which could be used generically across
all HDHR models.
