[mythtv-users] mythcommflag --rebuild --file doesn't update seek table

If I run:

$ mythcommflag --rebuild --file /storage2/2917_20150214030000.mkv

I don't end up with anything in the seek table:

mythtv at pvr:~$ echo 'select * from recordedseek where chanid = "2917" and starttime = "2015-02-14 03:00:00";' | mysql -u mythtv -p****** mythconverg

I wouldn't really care except without a seektable you can't edit
recordings.

So why doesn't it update?
