Hope I'm not comparing apples to oranges, but didn't the most recent Ubuntu
update (or Linux kernel?) fix the audio issue with the ECS Liva, which has
the same chipset?

As the starter of the thread, it's embarrassing to admit that I haven't
even taken mine out of the box yet.
