[mythtv-users] i have to press keys twice on my remote

hi, i have had this issue ever since i installed my remote.  i am using a RoseWill remote with mscusb.  for the most part, it works well but usually i need to press keys twice for myth to react.  I have noticed that if i press successive keys without pause, i do not need to double press them.
  I have tried searching for answers and I see some mention of other kernel modules stealing the remote codes but i don't see what to do about it.
  When i use ir-keytable, i can tell that even thought myth is not seeing the keypress, the keypress is getting to debian.


does anyone have any advice on how to troubleshoot this issue?
