I have seen a similar quirk recently (few months). Last night for
example, the scheduler refused to record a show on a higher priority
(HD) tuner that was available (I have 2 tuners, one HD and one SD). If I
let the scheduler decide, it wanted to record the show on December 24 on
the HD tuner. If I tried to override the schedule and explicitly
specify the HD tuner, the scheduler would force it to the SD tuner while
the HD tuner remains idle.

I've seen a similar situation when a show that overlaps another will
want to record on SD, even though the later show is scheduled to record
"Later". When I explicitly override the "Later" recording to "do not
record", the earlier show gets scheduled on the correct (HD) tuner.

I'm running 0.27+fixes, and have seen this occur at least a half dozen
times in the last few months. Optimizing the database has no effect
(stop backend, optimize, start backend).

MC
