[mythtv-users] Problems after upgrading frontend from Mythbuntu 12.04 to 14.04

Yes, I'm seeing garbage on the screen when I do this. But I still can't get
"ircat mythtv" to work and therefore can't get the remote to control
mythfrontend. I've responded to Stephen's request for further info on an
email just before this one.
