Rather than running them mirrored, configure the screens so that they
are two independent monitors. You should then be able to drag windows
between the two screens.

MythTV will understand this setup and default to using the first screen
(screen 0), there is a config option whose name currently escapes me
that allows you to set it to use the 2nd screen by default. I have this
on several of my systems and it works fine.
