In *theory* VAAPI should support MPEG-1, but given the
dearth of MPEG-1 content, I would guess no one has
contributed the patches to MythTV to add the support
(in double theory, it should be reasonably easy to add
since any MPEG-2 decoder can decode MPEG-1;
Said by someone who has not looked at the current
VAAPI codes in quite some time).
