[mythtv-users] A little help clarifying dummy tuners and HD ringbuffers

Thanks for all the help everybody, I finally solved the LiveTV issue!!!
Still a couple small things but it's up and running!!! I'll explain in
detail the errors and how I solved them later tonight or tomorrow when I
get a couple minutes.

Nice to hear about the Kodi/Frontend thoughts. I personally think
everything has a particular use and best-case. Could definitely see myself
setting up Kodi for my family members/friends if it's easier to use and the
frontend for myself (cause I like learning how to solve stuff or maybe I
have a couple screws loose...). I love Linux, but you can't get someone to
transition to it right away because you get all those calls if you do.
Personally, I've found Zorin OS to be the best tool to use for getting
people to transition to Linux because the UI is so much like windows and
allows them to learn slowly.

Serious. If you have a discussion you've already went over with others
about what's being done/needed and can forward it to this email (
