Thanks Dan. I'll look out for a new version on Play Store.

I'm running MythTV 0.27 on a MythBuntu 14.04 backend. The table I'm using
is a Sony Z3 Xperia Tablet Compact which is running Android 5.0.2 (from
memory).

Also, out of interest, if I'm playing the video or recording without
transcoding (its over my home LAN so I don't see any need to transcode)
should I be able to skip forwards/backwards in a video player such as VLC
or MX Player, or will that just not work?
