In my also limited use, I could not find a way to enable MythTV to play MP4
files, so MKV is my standard container. It's probably something simple, and
I'd be glad to be shown where I'm going wrong. Unless of course your use
case is to *not* play them in Myth, but your post implies you will be. I am
on almost bleeding edge trunk, but that shouldn't make a difference.
