Seems very unfair to be demanding such long term support. Ubuntu 8.04 LTS which was released about the same time as 0.21 ended in May 2011. Frankly this is a bizarre request.

No one is asking you to run bleeding edge (0.28/pre or master). 0.27 has been out a year now already - and is not bleeding edge. Support for 0.25 ended a year ago. In my opinion it is more than unreasonable to be demanding support for 0.21.
