[mythtv-users] Metadata stopped being downloaded, mythfrontend and ubuntu throw errors

I'm currently running mythbuntu 12.04 with mythtv 0.27. This has been
working well for about two years.

But now I'm experiencing problems with metadata downloads. Looking in the
directories where these items go:

banners
coverart
fanart
screenshots
trailers

the most recent items I can find are from August 18 or August 19. When I go
to "Watch videos" and refresh, the frontend throws up a bunch of errors
having to do with metadata. The drive that these items go to has 1.6 TB
free space, and I haven't changed any permissions or anything like that.

The last time this happened, ubuntu put up an error dialog as well. I
clicked on "Details" in that error dialog, but I couldn't see any way to
save that text. But the upshot was that something called tmdb3.py has
encountered an error.

I looked in /var/log/mythtv/mythfrontend.log and found this:

Can anyone offer advice on what may be causing this and how to fix it?
