Yianni, thanks for the information. My xorg.conf is VERY simple. Before I
added the suggested composite and triplebuffer options the entire thing was
this:
Section "Device"
Identifier "Default Device"
Option "UseEvents" "True"
Option "ModeDebug" "True"
Option "NoLogo" "True"
EndSection
I'm going to have to google around because I have a Sony Bravia and when I
hit the "display" button it shows me the resolution but I've never been
able to find the refresh rate.
