It certainly *could* be done that way. I don't think that is the
intent here, since their goal is to control what version is in use,
etc.
I do want to apologize - my posts are probably a bit more aggressive
than they should be. The fact is that the MythTV devs do a lot of
great work that we all benefit from.
I just am really apprehensive about the possibility of problems here...
