Then I researched and ordered a different card and then waited two weeks for it to ship only to be notified that it was out of stock and the manufacturer had discontinued it. THEN I bought a third card, an HVR-1250, only to open the box and find an incompatible HVR-1265 instead. Beyond frustrating.

So my question is this: can anyone recommend a Linux-compatible PCI or PCI-E USA ATSC card that is still being manufactured and won't be the wrong card in the right box? I just need something, -ANYTHING- that will work!

Why not get an Ethernet based one? I have an hdhr3-us and it works with
mythtv. It has dual tuner, single coax input.
