[mythtv-users] Schedules direct JSON information compared to XMLTV information and mythmetadatalookup

From what I understand, there is quite a bit more information in the JSON feed.

Could this be used instead of using mythmetadatalookup?

I'm wondering if there is enough information save for the images/thumbnails, that mythmetadatalookup would not be needed.

Any I am curious what data is missing if not.
