As far as the repo here is a general update:

Well I figured out what mono hates.   It seems it and locks doesn't see to
get along all the time.  I don't quite get it as I have had them in there
since the very beginning wrapping the settings file access.

BUT I do not seem to get along with packaging at all.  Everything is
working perfectly except on single files fails to copy.  No idea why.
