[mythtv-users] upgrade failure

debian sid, mysql 5.5.40-0+wheezy1, mythtv  0.27.4+fixes20141029-dmo1

did an automatic upgrade this morning, not thinking I needed to stop
mysql.

upgrade appeared to take. Now I'm back to the same as before, listed
below.

I rebooted, I've issued the following commands;

sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart && sudo /etc/init.d/mysql restart &&
sudo /etc/init.d/mythtv-backend restart

I've looked all mysql.txt, and config.xml files pertaining to MythTV.
They are edited to include the correct username and password.

I can login in with the following; "mysql -u mythtv -p mythconverg", it
does accept the password 

Not sure what I am missing
