Resending this:  it seems to have got lost.

I'm glad to hear it :-)  I rarely use HD, so haven't used the 
non-ProjectX option of MythDVBcut very much, but I use it for SD several 
times a day.  In the newer version, IIRC, I find the selection of edit 
points much quicker;  stepping by keyframes 'just works' for me.
