Hi-yas,
I have a circa 2007 Antec case with the little LCD display.
This has a little power cable that used to clip into an opposite-gendered
power cable that piggy-backed into the main motherboard power plug.
I assume it was wired like this so the LCD could show the time even if the
PC was off, since the PC is semi-powered all the time while connected.
It was a hard-wired thing, so when I replaced the power supply, half of this
setup went with it. At the time I didn't really consider this a
problem, but lately I've been missing the display, particularly it telling
me what's recording.
Does anyone know how I could restore power to this display?
And/or how much power it wants?
I no longer have the fiscal freedom to simply replace the case with a new one.
many thanks,
-Kingsley Turner
