I believe there is a confusion between an X server
(which displays to a monitor, and you may very
well not have on your BE), and the X client libraries,
which are used to connect to an X server, and
is required to be able to render the mythtv-setup,
and which you almost certainly do have on your BE.

If you really want to have "no X", remove the
client libraries too....
