[mythtv-users] Fresh mythbuntu install and having issues with desktop menu

Hi all,

I have a fresh mythbuntu install running 14.04 (downloaded yesterday).

Once installed and set to auto logon, mythtv fires up but the
fullscreen display sits below the top menubar. I have set the menubar
to autohide but it now collapses to a single line at the top of the
screen.

My old mythbuntu install did not have this issue and mythtv launched
in fullscreen mode over the top of the menu.

How do I fix this so the menu is not visible, sitting behing fullscreen mythtv?
