Oh OK, there was also a comment from JYA in the -dev thread questioning seek tables, that's what I was referring to.

There's a lot of confusion about this editing issue with comments spread over two mailing lists and one ticket. So, to clear things up I'll make a virtual machine with a fresh database and connect it to my HDHR and bisect everything between 0.27 and current head with resets and fresh recordings at each step.
