[mythtv-users] channel [re-]scanning removes callsign and name data

I don't recall seeing any options of that sort on the channel scan
screen.

To be clear, this was existing channels that were already in the channel
table and were still on the cable the way they were before the scan.  So
there was no change in them and therefore no reason to delete their
callsign and name.

In any case, given that nobody has chimed in so far about whether this
is a known bug or not, I will assume not known and go file one.
