No I have the firmware. If you search for the ASM1083/1085 chip you will see 
that it fails with many PCI cards that deliver high data throughput. It 
appears that an interrupt handled signal gets lost and the chip get confused 
until you reboot the computer

That's what I had planned until I found out that it went off the market a 
few weeks ago due to being pulled by the manufacturer, they no longer appear 
to be for sale :-(
