One option is to (try to) replace the power supply brick with
something of the same voltage and at least the same amperage.
Historically those vendor supplied bricks are a POS, and as they
age, they die an interesting death, and one gets (random) failures.
I do not recall any Hauppauge provided power supply brick I have
not replaced over the years (many proactively, because I knew it
was only a matter of time, a few for explicit cause before I started
to actually pay attention to the POS that was being included in
the box).

Another option is contact Hauppauge. Rumors suggest that they
have occasionally provided discounts/rebates to customers whose
device has failed even out of warrantee. Whether that is a standard,
or an individual CSR, or a past (no longer active), policy is unknown.

Yes, it does.

If you mean the CCI copy-once channels such as HBO/Showtime/Starz
(and if you do, you should be explicit as to what "other" means), a
replacement HDPVR is likely one of your only viable choices by
using the analogue hole.

If you mean the CCI copy-freely channels (which is pretty much
everything other than the premiums on FIOS), any OCUR card
would do you well, at the cost of having to pay the Verizon
CableCard fee.
