Hi All.
Well they are back. I upgraded yesterday both the frontend and backend to
MythTV Version : v0.27.1-11-ga1b5067
MythTV Branch : fixes/0.27
Network Protocol : 77
Library API : 0.27.20140520-1
QT Version : 4.8.1
Ever since then, about every 10 minutes watching livetv it locks. If I
exit then open it again it is fine for another 10 minutes.

Nothing has changed on my system other that the udpate to mythbuntu.
Did something change in this latest update or is something else going on?
Ever since this was fixed a month ago it has been flawless, until now?
Thanks to all for the help.
