Hello Jean,
   There's a nail/head collision going on here!  

I upgraded everything to 27.3; turned on ipv6 (I had it disabled in the grub boot on most of the servers).
I assigned the ipv6 to ::1 initially in mythtv-setuop on all of the systems; this still resulted in the deletion of the Video Library content.

I then changed the ipv6 address in mythtv-setup to that allocated (msagically?) to the network card.
This time *Success*
