Actually, EyeTV should also be compatible with your HDHomerun.

However, is Myth still running on this Mac?  Open Activity Monitor 
(Applications>Utilities) and set it to show All Processes.  If 
'mysqld' and 'mythbackend' are listed, it is running and ready to go.

If running, you then just need to start up MythFrontend.app.  It 
sounds like this was very seldom used so I suppose that if you had a 
membership to ShedulesDirect.com for guide data, it has probably 
lapsed.  Your best bet may be to use the Live TV function for the 
viewing since you can pause and rewind the playback in that.

You better have a Plan B, though, given that this setup hasn't been 
maintained and you don't have much experience with Myth.

PS Make sure you have wired connections to the church 
network--wireless is not likely to be reliable.
