[mythtv-users] "Whitescreen" on start in 0.27

HI!

After switching the painter to Auto in the mythfrontend settings, I
cannot switch back to OpenGL, because only QT and Auto are available now.

This was definitely not a problem with 0.26.

How can I debug this? If someone points me to the responsible source
file, I could add debug statements for example.

I already tried with -v all but I did not see anything useful.
