I see the whitescreen on my MythTV 0.27 front ends. I've chosen to use the
Qt paint engine because the fade effects I see with menu transitions when
the OpenGL engine is enabled aren't to my taste. Were it not for the fade
effects I'd be happy to use OpenGL. Is there any way to disable the fade
effects without having to resort to the Qt paint engine?

Thanks,
Dave
