You appear to have more than one DVB card/adapter as the 290e is
  '/dev/dvb/adapter3/frontend0'.

The numbering normally starts with adapter0.

Did you setup a new video source for the 290e ?

What kernel are you using, post output from uname -a

Can you also post output from dmesg | grep -i DVB
