OK, I did that and it looks the same. Everything is huge. There is a lot
of output in the terminal though during launch. I have appended it.

At about the centre is SwitchToGUI: Switched to 640x480 0.000 Hz
But at the end is SwitchToGUI: Switched to 1440x900 59.887 Hz
