Again, this all goes back to my original question.  The option to NOT
delete channels, at least as I remember it, was based on the "Existing
Channel Treatment" option, which included "Minimal Updates" for this
purpose.  When I went to do the full scan yesterday there was no such
option (unless I'm really blind).  If this is still possible, I'd love
for someone to tell me how.

Otherwise I may need to simply rescan existing transport frequencies
one at a time...though I'm not totally clear on that one yet.  I'm
assuming that wouldn't affect anything but channels assigned to that
mplex.
