Since Mint 17 is based off of Ubuntu 14.04, this should be the same for 
you.  To get the wireless working, as root I did:

cd /lib/firmware
ln -s brcmfmac43241b4-sdio.bin brcmfmac43241b4-sdio.txt

reboot
