Or (to the OP), better yet, contribute the (remaining) patches
necessary to move MythTV to Qt5 and move to that where this
bug is (claimed to be) resolved.  As I recall there are some
pending Qt5 enablement/enhancement patches in trac, but
there was still some work to do in internetContent.cpp.

It should be noted that Trolltech/Nokia/Digia/Qt Company
is ending support for 4.8 in (about) a year (they extended it
from the end if this year), at least for the "free" version, but
that is for real bugs, not enhancements or improvements
(I would expect just like Microsoft there will be custom
support available after official EoS with a high $$$$$
contract).
