[mythtv-users] Errors from upgrade

Greetings Mythizens, I got bounced replying with errors so I'm starting new
and triming more:I went ahead with a terminal upgrade and managed to save
some of the errors:

A lot of unpacking, installing setting up, etc has not been included, I'm
guessing that most of the initial FATAL warnings have done the upgrade in.
Plus the partition wont boot up, grub does appear and if I select default
ubuntu I get, eventually a tty log in screen.     Is there any hope of a
successful upgrade?   Daryl
