Except that the XBMC with the PVR client is not really a satisfactory
substitute for the genuine MythTV FE.

At least not while the variable frame rate streams that are being sent
down from cablecos are still tripping up mythcommflag's accuracy due to
mythcommflag's assumption that entire recording files are recorded with
a single homogeneous frame rate.

If XBMC had the same kind of commercial skip keys (i.e. not just the two
choices of automatic commercial skip or skip +/-30s) along with the
sticky rew/fwd keys that MythFE has, it would be very useful.

None of which does non-US residents any good though.
