Recent for me since I just upgraded to 0.27 and tried the lossless
transcode. For example the original file is seen by ffmpeg like:

Input #0, mpegts, from '1071_20130925050000.mpg':
   Duration: 00:59:57.84, start: 8442.162544, bitrate: 10573 kb/s
     Stream #0.0[0x31]: Video: mpeg2video (Main), yuv420p, 1920x1080
[PAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], 13216 kb/s, 29.97 fps, 29.97 tbr, 90k tbn, 59.94 tbc
     Stream #0.1[0x34](eng): Audio: ac3, 48000 Hz, 5.1, s16, 384 kb/s
     Stream #0.2[0x35](spa): Audio: ac3, 48000 Hz, mono, s16, 128 kb/s
(visual impaired)

and after the lossless transcode:

Input #0, mpeg, from '1071_20130925050000.mpg':
   Duration: 37:10:28.62, start: 0.316133, bitrate: 191 kb/s
     Stream #0.0[0x1e0]: Video: mpeg2video (Main), yuv420p, 1920x1080
[PAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], 13216 kb/s, 29.97 fps, 29.97 tbr, 90k tbn, 59.94 tbc
     Stream #0.1[0x80]: Audio: ac3, 48000 Hz, 5.1, s16, 384 kb/s
     Stream #0.2[0x81]: Audio: ac3, 48000 Hz, mono, s16, 128 kb/s
(visual impaired)
