Is there any reason in particular people run gnome on the mythboxes? Even
though I always forget how to do it and it takes me quite some time to get
it correct, I always make ratpoison my default windows manager in place of
gnome to get rid of headaches like screensavers and funky behavior (which
was really doing weird stuff on the gnome 3). I imagine it is also reduces
CPU and memory overhead too.
