[mythtv-users] Event handler won't trigger during playback

Hi all

I have assigned a key to a system event handler that runs a script. The 
key is assigned to sysevent01 under Global in the key settings. The 
script runs just fine when myths menu is visible, but in TV or video 
playback the event doesn't seem to trigger. I thought the Global context 
would catch all key strokes, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Any help appreciated.
