Well, CentOS has its own issues.  As a (very) stable
platform, you would find that the MythTV 0.27 requirement
of Qt 4.8 is not available (Centos has Qt 4.6.<mumble>).
While there will be Qt 5.1 packages available, MythTV
is not yet really ready for Qt 5.1 (although, depending on
your specific hardware, a BE might be adequately
functional on it, that is not true for all configurations).
