I can tell you now that the EIT data is no more likely to be up-to-date than the 
xmltv feed if there are any sudden changes. If sporting or national events 
overrun, for example, or there is a major incident the EPG won't get updated in 
time, or more likely at all. It will be easy to miss programs because of this.

Wimbledon is a prime example of this, where important matches (ie Andy Murray) 
were held on one channel instead of being switched to the other. This meant that 
other programs, which you may have been interested in, could be on a different 
channel, delayed or postponed to another date.
