I have tried other themes and I do not like any of them much.  And
changing the theme on my mother's box would be a very bad idea - she
has taken several years to learn to use this one.  Her condition is
such that new things are quite difficult for her.

A custom override might be able to stop a theme displaying artwork,
but it would not stop it downloading it.  I deleted over 1 Gibyte of
artwork that had already been downloaded before I put a stop to it.
