Open a terminal, and use *"kill mythfrontend; kill mythfrontend.real"*
On Ubuntu, the "mythfrontend.real" is the actual mythfrontend binary, 
and "mythfrontend" is Mythbuntu's script that runs Mythfrontend whilst 
doing some other "fancy" stuff.
