Um, I can tell the difference between Freeview HD and even a terrible bluray! I have a Freeview HD (ok DVBT2) tuner and I only use it as a last resort. I'll agree that 1080p25 even when delivered over 1080i50 will usually look better than 720p, provided the screen is big enough but broadcast television is a lot more than showing films…
