I'm not sure what you are talking about. Was that supposed to be in
response to my comment about QAM becoming less useful by the year? If so,
then I will point out that if you are dropping cable, then you are NOT
using QAM. QAM is only used by cable. OTA is done via ASTC, which is not
supported by any of the ceton brand hardware (as far as I know). And QAM is
indeed becoming less useful by the year. Most providers are offering less
and less content over QAM as time goes on. Now that the FCC has clear them
to encrypt even the local channels, there probably are already some cable
system that have absolutely no unencrypted QAM content, and I can only
assume that such setups will become more common over the next few years.
