[mythtv-users] Upgrade Mythbuntu 10.04 0.23 to 0.25 autoexpire failing now?

I triggered an upgrade from 0.23 to 0.25 (with a view to going to 0.26+
on a new box) however for some reason recordings are no longer being
written to disc. Seems old files are no longer being deleted as drive
"repo" is now full, as below. Clicking on a recording from mythweb
recordings takes me to a page stating e.g. 1002_20130902221900.mpg is an
empty file.
The auto-expire seems to be no longer occurring? I've run the database
checks from mythweb settings.

Can someone give me a pointer what to do from here please
