Now that I think about it, you're probably talking about the (not a but, 
but doing /exactly/ what the user asks) consequence of using Balanced 
*Free Space with full file systems that encourages the expiration of all 
high-auto-expire-priority recordings on a given file system, and 
placement of new recordings on that same file system (meaning that 
eventually, MythTV will have to begin expiring new recordings written to 
that file system).  Again, though, this isn't a bug--it's working 
exactly as the user configured it, even though the user didn't 
understand the consequences of that configuration request.

Balanced *Free Space shouldn't be used by anyone with full file 
system(s) in MythTV Storage Groups.  Instead, users who have full file 
system(s) in MythTV Storage Groups and rely on auto-expiration to make 
room for new recordings should use Combination or Balanced I/O.
